Assuming there is no wind factor, the weight is minimal due to most of the paper already being taken out, the average age of the thrower, the drag when the booklet flips open and the elevation of the stand. How far do you think one of these booklets could travel, what would be it's maximum speed, and what would be it's impact speed?

I reckon if I'm confronted with these answers, I'll piss myself laughing at the possibility of a grown man being scared of a fluttering season ticket booklet.

I think the only danger is if the corner of the ticket hits someone in the eye.
I think they should have issued everyone with goggles before the match, just to be safe.

I hope Dowie does come here, if only so somebody can start a poll about whether his name is pronounced "Dowie" or "Dowie".

A Doomesday scenario for a Health and Safety wallah. :icon_bigg :icon_wink

Dowie has a far better record than Holloway. Not one of my favorite managers but I'd rather see Dowie in charge than Holloway.

How are you judging that

Holloway overall managed for 601 games, won 37.7%, not lost 66.2%

Dowie overall managed for 271 games, won 39.1%, not lost 64.2%

So defeated in more games % wise, but less likely to draw.

Fans from Palace & Oldham told me Dowie is a one trick pony & if you go 1-0 down you will lose, doesn't know how to change a game - that doesn't sound like an improvement

Defeated in more games, but has a better win percentage ! Now lets see, who has got a team promoted to the prem and who hasn't ?

I think we all know that just because a manager has done well at one club it doesn't follow that he will be a success at another, but it also doesn't follow that if a manager is poor at one club he always will be. Phil Brown for example.

I have been saying this for sometime.

Clearly Mandaric's judgement in selecting a football manager is very poor. He needs to take advice either from existing top managers if they will speak with him or bring in someone who knows the trade to advise him on the issue.

Wasn't Martin George seen in the crowd recently.....

Dowies not for me. Would like a manager thats got his heart in the club unlike a majority of this team. Grayson, Walshy, Taggert all relatively inexperienced but so what. Look what so called experienced ones have done!
On a positive, i think the Blades will do us a favour on sunday. Then again, on our current form we will probably turn Stoke over!

to be honest I dont rate dowie but he cant be as bad as holloway he has achieved more and holloway is just aweful.

Why oh why do people keep mentioning Walsh for Manager...? The guy cant even be arsed to sit his coaching badges

What I cannot understand is if Mad Mandy has already decided that Ian "Laugh a lot" Holloway is not the right man to lead this club then why the fcuk allow the cnut to take charge of the most important match in our clubs history.

IMO Ollie needs to go today, Taggart be made Caretaker Manager with Beaglehole and Rudkin assisting him.

Sunday's fixture is all about passion, fight, commitment and bottle IMO.

Then in the summer Milan needs to go all out for Paul Ince who IMO is the stand out candidate, has the guts to start at the bottom and has proved he can work well within contraints and budgetry limitations at Macclesfield, but then can also handle the pressure of managing a club with expectations.

He has played at the very highest level and under some top Managers and Coaches, granted the man maybe a complete cock but so is the current incumbant and at least Ince is a cock who has achieved something and commands respect.

Ince = Wise
