There were people throwing season tickets on the pitch.
Shit, that paper hurts.

No excuses will wash me on this, I'm totally blinkered and not ready for any excuses.

They are all a shambles to this club, most of them will be leaving and didn't even feel the need to say goodbye and thank you to the people that have paid their wages.

This was just a protest, a mild and meaningless one at that, and one the players, owner and Manager must acknowledge, appreciate, and not turn their back on.

Disgraceful performance.

Dowie and Mando are a match made in heaven. Dowie was sacked because when he handed his transfer window list to Ransom the majority of players he wanted were past it players like Steve Howard and Barry Hayles. Ransom had already decided this wasn't the direction he wanted Coventry to go in (he wants youngsters with potential - Danny Fox & Scott Dann being perfect examples) and felt he had no choice but to sack Dowie because their visions for the future differed so much. Mando though loves signing name players on big wages so he and Dowie should complement eachother perfectley. And lets be honest, Dowie has always been Mando's 1st choice.

Them pair were bought by Dowie. Terrible appointment if it goes through. I'd much prefer Davies.

They were bought while Dowie was still the manager, and as Ransom himself has said, he had an extensive list of players given to him by Dowie, mostly older players with no resale value, Scott and Dann were on the list and fitted in with Ransoms vision of the club. Remember when we used to sign younger players with potential ? Savage, Lennon, Izzet etc?

i'll miss Ollie on the basis that he's quite funny and witty, but i'ld rather have ID in charge as i feel he'll get us playing some good football and in league 1 he'll be a bloody good manager...and that's 1000 times more important than making you laugh.

Cheers Ollie, good luck at your next club.

Aye - I bet Portsmouth fans wish he'd never set foot in their fine stadium

Ruined 'em, he did

He did such a good job he sacked the only manager who did well for them, before going cap in hand and begged him back. That aside, lets also take into account our progress since he took over - where would we be without him ?

They're plastic :icon_roll
The covers are, yes; but if they had opened midflight, there could have been grave consequences with multiple papercut injuries, the likes of which I don't think the St. John's troupe could have dealt with.

I totally agree, I just I'd be picky and point something out. It's all reet buying young 'uns but need a guiding hand. See Poole/Flowers/Walsh/Cottee for Savage/Lennon/Izzet. It was recently noted that in last year's 442 FL Best players poll - last season Eastwood, Sharp and McLeod were three of the Top ten - all 3 have been utter dogshite this season.

Excellent point well made.

Aye such a terrible job he did taking them from complete and utter garbage wallowing in the gutter, to the heights of the Premier League

Where would they be without him ?

In League Two, probably

But the only reason they are where they are is because MM got lucky with Redknapp. He's appointed loads of managers in his time at Portsmouth and Leicester, and only one turned out to be any good - and he was originally appointed as director of football!

How many managers are we going to have at Leicester before we get one capable of getting promoted (from whichever division we happen to be in at the time...) ?

I think we should get 20 managers in at once.
