Why not just pay for her to do a Crash Course in Driving, which means she takes lessons and a test you pay a lum sum upfront and it handles everything as well as she has a good chance of passing first time

A crash course never sounds good. It'd kill my no-claims bonus.

I dont see anything clever in people who have passed a test and only had x amount of lessons. It dosent make you a good driver.
Imo you should have as many lessons as you want, until you feel fully confident to drive in all situations on the road.

Passed 1st time after about 30. I dont regret it and i've never caused an accident in my 20 yrs of driving

I did 20 lessons in 2 months, and passed first time.


Although my mate took 14 tests in 6 months before passing - he claimed he just got nervous.

I had 30 lessons in 6 months in 2006, so I think there is something in this age theory.

I was just going to be put in for my test when circumstances prevented me from pursuing it further and I now don't have the means to continue, but the expense of running a car would be just too much anyway.

I had 13 lessons and 7 test:icon_redf:icon_redf. I failed my first for rushing into it and not being ready, 3 for speeding:icon_redf 1 for running a red light and 1 for not stopping at a zebra crossing. Was well chuffed to finally pass.
