In which case he perhaps shouldn't have used the word 'nonsense' in response to another point of view :icon_wink

So it couldn't have been 'his' personal opinion that what the FT wrote was nonsense?

I found them extremely unpleasant.

There is a danger that the club will take the attitude "Well Cliff Ginetta speaks for the fans" and he is in favour of them." Cliff Ginetta seems to see his role as supporting the club rather than speaking for the supporters - he certainly does not speak for me.

I have always found the new scoreboards distracting when it is dark and the bright red Air Asia ads come on. I sit quite high up and although they obviously don't obstruct my view of the pitch they don't enhance my customer experience!

This thread has really interfered with my enjoyment of MOTD. Having read all the posts I now seem unable to focus on the electronic advertising hordings during the Reading match. It's like someone has smeared shit into my face and pissed in my ears.

Nonsense. It was distracting for a few minutes whilst you adjusted to it but after that I forget they were there. It never for a moment affected the ability to see the ball. I sit on the third row in the east stand.

Durham, because it did not affect you does not make it nonsense.

They were obviously switched to night mode last night .

Need to be aware though that 'night mode' and 'night mode for live TV' is not the same thing. I suspect we have not heard the last of this.
