I have heard the world cup song a couple of times and its ok, but after a couple more plays it might seem better.

I think people just like to slate certain bands because it has become the 'in' thing to do. Hence why Coldplay get so much stick and why Embrace are starting to get stick. A couple of years down the line im sure everybody will state they always hated Artic Monkeys and thought they were over rated.
