The poor cow.
Even the Met Office only forecasts 5 days ahead!
I would have thought that running on the same pitch as me would get some of the guys on here signing up. :icon_winkJust a quick bump so I can say thanks to those who have said they'll take part and also give anyone who didn't see it first time the chance to get involved.
Just think, you could be running on the same pitch as Edgar Davids... Maybe.

Dear James
Your request to look at the possibility of joining in Birch’s fund raising run at the end of season has been passed to me.
I have discussed your proposal with Birch and he feels that he has a good, tried and tested format and that to open it up to other groups could start an avalanche of enquiries. Obviously he doesn't wish to discourage anyone from helping raise money although I know he has still not confirmed which charity(ies) he will be running for this season.
Birch is also very mindful that the main event on the day is the game - which could be a very important one for us - and all the extra 'bodies' involved if we added to the run could cause problems in an already congested tunnel/pitchside area. I am sure the last thing we would all want, is to detract from the game on the day.
Would it be possible for you all to have a re-think as to how you could all be involved in either raising money for your chosen charity or alternatively to support Birch in his fund raising please. We would be more than happy to help support you but feel that Birch’s end of season run should be left in the format which has proved so successful in the past.
Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss this further.
Yours sincerely
James Perry

Terrible, terrible news everyone
I was already a good way through my training programme, and have spent a fortune on training equipment and kit - all of which I will be seeking a substantial compensation payment from the club and/or James...
Lifted from FT:
I'm just going to run on the pitch and do it anyway, what a shite excuse from the club.
You are joking surely?
No, its not a normal run its the 125th anniversary run.

I'm holding out for the 1000th anniversay. I'm planning something very special...I don't think 125 is very special. I am intending to jog round on the
200th anniversary .
