If you think about it, India didn't bowl too badly in general. Not enough runs on the board. Suppose we took 20 wickets :icon_cool

I really do think, India are good enough to beat England, if it wasn't for the first day, England would've lost; the pitch was perfect and the bowling was poor, weather changed the pitch and changed the game, it was a bowling pitch after day 1.

If,if,if :icon_lol:

Nope, i must be the only one who thinks Sreesanth is sh*te.

Well I saw him bowl a lot on sky against SA and he certainly has something about him. You really can't see it? Hmmm ok. You must be the only one who thinks Agarkar is good too. Although if you want to play a guy with a test bowling average of 47 then I would be delighted.

I think the problem with the batting is that you have a lot of guys who do just enough to stay in the side. Ganguly, Laxman, Karthik, Kaif, Yuvraj etc always seem to get 30s and 40s which while keep their averages healthy enough don't really win matches. I wonder who the new coach will be but I hope hes bold enough to drop these hangers on once and for all.

I would play...
Sehwag
Jaffer
Dravid
Tendulkar
Tiwary
Raina
Dhoni
Kumble
Zaheer Khan
Munaf Patel
Sreesanth

Then after a while ease out Tendulkar, Kumble and Khan for Sharma, Chawla and RP Singh.

I cannot believe i forgot Raina :icon_cry:

I admit Sreesanth played well vs SA. But I would put Pathan, Agarkar (sp) & even Munaf Patel before him, I really don't rate him.

Also good point about the coach, i can see the likes of Tendulkar & Kumble retiring some time soon.

Bowling has been a problem of India's for some time, and i hope the new coach can do something about it.

As for the batters they are too inconsistent and are always a let down. .'ve said this many times before, but i'll say it again.. Yuvraj should be in the team i really rate him and would probably say he is bar Dravid our best batter.
