I would imagine that most people will have the same idea?

SWP has shown a lot more enthusiasm and willingness to run at people. Joe Cole gives us a bit of creativity and a goal threat.

I have an incling (?) that Milner will play too, maybe in SWP's place.

I would go with that Han with the possible exception of Lampard, who i would consider dropping. The Gerrard/Lampard conundrum.

It's got to be a 4-3-3 formation, 4-4-2 (and the barely indistunguishable variant of 4-1-3-2 Fabio plays) is completely past it at the highest level (note how many players play it at their clubs, and how many teams are playing it at this tournament).

Heskey should be dropped, not for his performances but because the fools behind him will just hoof at him. We need a team full of ballplayers, so players like Lampard, who rely on running too much, are out and Carrick and Cole are in.

Hart looks just as good as James or Green (seriously, do you play James when you're looking for someone not to make a mistake?) Giving him his big chance early means we might just uncover our own Iker Cassilas, either way he ought to be no.1 for the Euro qualifiers and hopeful for the next 15 years.

And malcontents absolutely have to be rooted out, hence the new partnership at centre-half. We are really missing Rio here.
