Re: Cambiasso

Just read that he's made 76 Champions League appearances. Wow.

He's also won titles in Spain and Italy (five times) as well as winning the Champions League.

What a legend. Surely the most impressive signing we've ever made.

I completely agree, a wow of a signing.

Re: Cambiasso

I'm very surprised this has happened.

Shows that occasionally unexpected good things do turn up - even if you are more or less totally cynical like me.

Sensible for all parties that its a year - its a year we need to consolidate.

Hopefully, he will be kept wrapped in cotton wool from match to match - not much training methinks.

Re: Cambiasso

Being old enough to remember the Johan Cruyff saga, this transfer had all the hallmarks of a repeat performance. The fact that we have succeeded is terrific: I have always admired our managerial staff (tongue almost bursts cheek :icon_bigg)

Whatever happens, this is a great coup!

I am Cambiasso

Re: Cambiasso

A midfield trio of Cambiasso, Drinkwater and James. The flair of Mahrez and the bullish centre forward play of Ulloa. :) I like it.

Re: Cambiasso

Will he need a work permit?

Re: Cambiasso

YESTEBAN! I'm still so excited he's signed, can't wait to see him play for us - hopefully this weekend.

Re: Cambiasso

With McArthur and King ready to step in if any of the above are injured.

Yep, our midfield is looking strong (when they're all fit). Imagine Hammond will be moved on if McArthur signs as well, although I think he's performed better in the first 2 games in the Prem than he did at any stage last year!

Re: Cambiasso

We could make a real statement as fans on this one IMO

Imagine 30,000 people all with fully shaved heads live on Sky this Sunday, all in order to welcome our new Arnar Gunnalaugson, what a sight.

Get shaving
