Signed in 1992. Thatcher was ousted in 1990 - wasn't it John Major who signed the Maastricht Treaty?

Correct. It was the Maastricht Treaty's precursor - the Single European Act, establishing the framework for the Single Market and greater political integration - that Mrs T signed without apparently reading the title, the large print, or the small print, in 1986.

"Signed up to" isn't inaccurate. then.

I'm voting for give_us_a_wave in the next election!

I'm coming towards a conclusion that the problem with politics is people. We're really not up to the job.

I mean, May or that Leadsom thing. Corbyn? That fella from the Lib Dems that I can never remember the name of?

All a waste of time aren't they? Total imbeciles or shysters. Anyone that wants to be a politician should be immediately stopped from doing it.

What we need is to run by a computer. We all electronically decide what we think about stuff, what we want to do about the NHS etc and feed it into the computer. Then put the facts of the world into the computer as they occur and let it get on with it.

I'd vote for it.

The answer would be 42

It's the system. It's full of self serving ****s who don't represent any normal person. The labour lot were terrified of Corbyn being put in charge not because he's one of those lefties but because they aren't. Tories represent the rich and the majority of labour do too. We've got a choice between a turd sandwich and a giant douche every ****ing time. I vote so I can have a good whinge afterwards, other than that it's a complete waste of time and I understand why people don't bother.

Thanks.I'll serve with distinction.

I'll have pissed away 50K in expenses on cocaine & high end escorts within a fortnight.

The small part of London they don't already own will be sold to the Russians & Leicester will be the new capital.
Anyone who can prove they were regular attendees under McLintock/Pleat/Kelly/Levein etc will be given either a large pension or a high paid job (depending on age) in a government department or quango where **** all will be expected of them.
Any adult who can be proved beyond a reasonable doubt to have never attended a match until halfway through last season will be stripped naked & placed in stocks on Castle Yard where they will be pelted with rancid fruit gathered from the market at closing time then be tattooed with the words "Glory Boy Twat" on the forehead.

A statue of Claudio will be erected in a prominent city centre location.

A statue of Brian Clough will be erected next to the public toilets near the infirmary. It will feature the great man in a prone position clutching a bottle with his head resting in a pool of vomit, trousers around his ankles, knob hanging out of his Y fronts.

Rest of manifesto will follow in due course.

Yep, seconded.

You may even prove more popular than Pitt - the glint in the milk mans eye?
