Third place teams play against the runners up in the Conference League groups in a playoff to get into the knockout phase of that competition.

Same as the fact that in the Europa League only the group winners go straight into the knockout phase. The runners up play against the third place teams in the Champions League groups.

Celtic are in Group G with Bayer Leverkusen, Real Betis and Ferencvaros.

Looks like we won’t get to play Rangers or Celtic this year then.

I like the group. English fans always cry about getting hard teams, it's such a shit mentality.

European sides relish playing against the better teams in Europe.
