Unsurprising.

" Lets take some time to gauge how well they're performing, & then give them a penalty that makes it look like we're enforcing the rules but also isn't big enough to get this grand old club relegated.

Many more people want to watch Everton on the telly than Burnley, Sheff U or Luton. That's what matters gentlemen, lets not forget.

Thank you very much for your time. Please remember to pick up your free prostitute on the way out "

** NOTE FOR NEXT MEETING **

" We may well have to crucify Forest though. In order to deflect any criticism, you understand.

Show we're not soft. Lets face it, they're not considered a ' big ' name anymore, so hey ho.

Also, it might help take the heat off a little further down the line when we do absolutely **** all to Man City

( other than choking on their cock like we usually do )

Aren’t Everton facing extra charges similar to Forest and the results of the investigation are to be published at the same time?

Yep. But they've got to wait until they know exactly how many points wouldn't make a difference to survival. Gonna look ****ing stupid if they're 1 point ahead but with a worse goal difference. Could see something like a 0.5 point deduction.

Conveniently, when they appeal the decision, the hearing will be one week after the end of the season, so again, **** all will happen. Tiddlywinks anyone?

6 points is **** all for breaking the rules really isn't it?

Let's go sign Messi and Ronaldo when we go up. They'll make up those points easily.

Not sure we'd get the same punishment as them. Someone will get a proper punishment as a deterrent and it'd have to be someone like us, Luton, Palace etc.

Surely, the magnitude of the crime determines the punishment? So, sure, six points for Everton, 60 points did Man City? I think I'd just about be OK with that.

a lot on Talk sport about this catch up is on youtube covering this, rumour is Everton will more than likely receive another 3 points or less for another offence.

Forest have potentially committed a bigger crime than Everton and the result may not be out until halfway through the EUROS.

I can imagine Alan Brazil saying those words.

The problem with that is the fact if a points deduction results in relegation it's all got to be sorted by some time in June. Something to do with turning in the PL Certificate. There'll obviously be an appeal so it could be a real mess.
