Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Ashley Chambers was a live-wire in York's 5-1 trouncing of Kettering, looking far better than Non-league.

Jamie Clapham staggered about on a Zimmer, Verma fell over more times than baby Bambi on ice and Taft (not exactly an 'ex') impressed for 45 minutes at left-back.

Are the home games at R & D`s ground now?

Nene Park, yes.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

If you read the piece, the chairman says, "It's not easy, but I have been patient with him"

9 days into the season, some patience!

It also says he hired him 2 years ago.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Mandaric and Megson stating well in the league cup tonight I see. 3-0 down after 8 minutes

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Cresswell scores twice in the Everton - Sheff Utd game, unfortunately, one is in his own net.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Lamey's Champion League odyssey ends as Krakow crash out to Apoel Nicosia. From the highlights, his nonchalent double teapot pose as the goals against pile in is as useful this season as it was last

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Making quite a name for him alongside the other Thracian Babes.

Anyways, read today that Ben Mee has conceded three penalties whilst at Burnley in his first month!

He seems to give away a LOT of penalties... what is it about him? Is he clumsy/reckless in the challenge? Is it aggression? Stupidty?

:icon_bigg Of the youth that Thracian used to argue should replace the whole of the first team, only Stearman and Gradel have had much success. Stearman seems to be doing well - back as 1st choice at Wolves this season.

To be fair though, the 'stars' of the first team don't seem to be playing at a higher level than where most of the kids have ended up.
