I had to laugh when I read this story. Why would any English Premier League club want Lennon as their manager? What has he done in Scotland to prove he has the ability to manage in the English Premier League?

He has been managing in a two team league and has consistently finished second. Up until this past season when that became a one team league and he finally managed to finish first.

Perhaps he wasn't good enough when he was with us, and is just a late-developer. There are lots of examples of that in football, such as Andy Johnson.
