Yet he still played on Saturday for Donny and Rovers' board were hoping to sort out a deal for him. He was signed on the premise that the 'Irish takeover' would go through, it's not happening hence Donny are scrambling to find the money for his wages.

Feck me, I bet Man United were bricking it when they saw our line-up that day:
Leicester: Royce, Rowett, Elliott, Gilchrist, Impey, Eadie, Lewis, Jones, Delaney, Akinbiyi, Sturridge. Subs: Flowers, Guppy, Ellison, Benjamin, Oakes.

I was there that day; a week after Wycombe. Frightful line-up which played rather well against an already Champions elect Yanited. I think it was Paul Rachubka's only league appearance for Man Yoo that day. Dwight Yorke was warming up in goal before the game.

Was only with us a couple of years; result of the Cork City connection that also brought Damien Delaney to the club; never played for the first team. Had a few games for Scarborough after he left us and a lot for Stockport, Hartlepool and Orient after a long spell in non-league.

I've seen him a few times in recent seasons, for Hartlepool and Leyton Orient. He's been competent.
