Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

What the **** is a Lee Danns?

The player they've signed with a point to prove, not to be confused with the player they've signed who lacks ability and swans about like an absolute bellend.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Dougie Freedman full of compliments for Beckford (something about hard work brings its reward) and especially Lee Danns (looks to bring in players with something to prove)... good quality strikers' goals both.

Danns' goal was a simple header into an empty net.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Isn't it a reference to Alan Young getting his name wrong once?

Perhaps, I've not listened to RL for a few years I think. Probably back when it was mostly slating Yakubu for only scoring goals and very little said about what is going on in the match.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Kevin Poole sort of came out of retirement to sit on the bench for Burton at the weekend. He is 50!

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

I didn't know that Muzzy was a big West Ham fan. But here's a short clip about him at Skyports site.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Hat trick for harry kane for under 21's, keane with the other goal.
