Elvis Hammond has had his contract at Cheltenham cancelled by mutual consent.

Frank Sinclair just been sent off for Wrexham

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

See Lilly Savage ended up in goal for the dirty rams last night. Only let 2 of the 4 in though to be fair.

Not exactly a former player, but Greg Clarke, former Chairman, has taken over as Chairman of the Football League, taking over from Lord Mawhinney.

Greg Clarke went to the same school as me and as we were both City fans used to talk on the bus regularly Must admit I would not have thought he would reach these heights

It's a strange world - Cheltenham let go of a talent like Elvis and then go on to score six... Does nothing make sense any more?

Dean Sturridge commentating for Wigan - Villa highlights on Sky Sports, he is actually pretty decent.

Always rated him when he was with us, wish we'd have kept him longer.

Trevor Benjamin has signed for Wroxham, his 26th club.

I met him last week and he is a great bloke. Still follows Leicester, and said his only regret was to leave Leicester that early, if he wouldn't have his career might have kicked off. Well, I don't know.. Also hailed Peter Taylor as a great manager but he would have to, wouldn't he...
£1.5 million.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

I can't believe at 31 he's playing for a team in the same division as Ely City! I thinks it's quite bizarre that he's fallen quite so drastically.

I mean, even in the 2007/08 season he scored a respectable 10 goals in 34 appearances for Hereford. How is it that only two seasons on he's playing for a team with attendences that rarely get above 80?
