Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Frank Sinclair nets yet another own goal before conceding a penalty and getting sent off for Wrexham against AFC Wimbledon.

Good old Super Frnak

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Don't know if this has been posted before but apparently Julian Joachim is now playing for Thurmaston.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

No idea how true this is (probably bollocks knowing him) but my mate reckons he played against a team containing Carl Muggleton and Tony James t'other day.

:icon_lol: He must cracking on a bit. Actually there is a Scott James who plays but not a Tony. Julian is signed on. Muggo plays now and again as he is coach at Notts County. Muzzy played once. Sam Mcmahon had an appearnce and Tony Thorpe is player coach. The club is manged by Stu Deeley of Deeley Constuction.

Deeley has a history of going to teams in Leicestershire, taking his merry band of players with him and then leaving soon after when he falls out with people at the club. This puts the clubs he's left in a complete mess. Examples of this can be seen if you look at his last 2 teams:

3 years ago he took over at Asfordby Amateurs, won division 1 and then left after 1 year, on Saturday they got their 1st win since he left and sit rooted to the bottom of the Senior League:

He left to go to Anstey Nomads, won the league, they got promoted to the East Mids Counties League, he left after 1 year and they now sit bottom of that division with only 1 win all year:

He left to go to Thurmaston and is now top of that league. He clearly does well when he goes to a team (which, given the money he spends and players he gets, isn't surprising at that level), but then leaves quickly and the club is left in a false position and struggles to recover.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Joey was left out of the Burnley squad all together today and is not being offered a new contract after his outburst last week (at least he wasnt in the pub).
Wonder who will sign him in the summer? :icon_wink
