I use barbed hooks and had a couple of nice bass on hols in West Wales this year. Wouldn't want those tasty prize beauties wriggling off.
Also had half a dozen mackerel which I'll use for cod bait in the winter. Is that a good enough reason not eat them?
And do they feel pain when I put my finger in their mouth and bend their heads back to break their necks? That'll teach em to be dull enough to go after a piece of foil stupid feckers.:icon_roll

Nice one Rhydal, you dont fish for trout on barbless hooks. Nothing better than a grilled trout which was swimming around less than an hour before..
