good and bad news ,Ive had to send my pole back to the makers as they don't do spare section any more .

after an hour on the phone to them they are going to give me a credit note for a new pole at the full price of £499 which means i can buy a new 17.5 meter pole and a new fishing box plus a few other bits .

well happy about the way everything has worked out

Nice one Rhydal, you dont fish for trout on barbless hooks. Nothing better than a grilled trout which was swimming around less than an hour before..

Bass is unbeatable freshly grilled on a beach barbecue. That said, you can't knock a nice bit of fish pie.
