Perhaps some of the players near to the first team squad were given the impetus to play well last night in the hope they might feature in the game against West Brom on Saturday. Anthony Knockaert, Danny Simpson and Tom Lawrence all played 90 minutes while Nick Powell came off near the end. So perhaps we may see some of these feature, Lawrence may feel his 2 goals could eventually get him in the 1st team squad.

Apart from Albrighton it's the same team that started (and thrashed) Man City. Hmmm, perhaps we could settle the first team in the same way eh Nige?
