I agree and, ultimately, it's one of those sports where fans not being there makes that much of a difference, so it's still the same sport, so to speak. Yes, it's a great sight to see all the fans spilling onto the track at Monza normally, but that's different to the race itself.
You can boil pretty much any sport down to sounding a bit thick, though, can't you
