Test it live; I'd rather people bear with a few issues than have no forum at times.

But maybe that's because I've had no issues on good old IE8.

*grabs bin lid and shields self*

Nope, nor me. None with IE9 either.

I like the new look Jeff. The new mobile version is great as it really helps when browsing on the mobile.

didi to swindon thread post 10 (vertical text)

The user agent of your browser says you're using the AOL browser based on Internet Explorer 7.

Internet Explorer 8 was released over two years ago. At the very least you should be using that version, if you don't want to use Chrome or Firefox or any of the other better browsers.

I turned off IE7 compatibility mode a few days ago because I think that was causing problems for people using IE9.

Yesterday I changed it so that links in posts are underlined, because I thought they weren't standing out. But it should only be links.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Its underlining thread names, forum names and poster names.

If you want to permanently disable the sidebar you can use the no sidebar style.

I am using the no sidebar style but now and for the first time there are a couple of left pointing arrows on the main page which when pressed open out the sidebar.

In previous versions of the no sidebar style, and preferable, there were no arrows and no means of getting the sidebar unless I changed the whole style. :icon_bigg

This is only temporary, until I can get the sidebar thing working properly.

The sidebar only being on the main forum page is the standard behaviour for the forum software. For some reason the developers didn't think anyone would want it on more than one page so I had to install a modification to make it work on the whole site. That didn't work properly and led to lots of error messages appearing in the server's log files, and may have caused issues for people with some browsers. So I've disabled it until I find a better way of doing it.
