Are you using a screen with a really low resolution?

I had to adjust my browser to a width of around 700 pixels for the scroll bar to appear. And at that resolution you're likely to see a scroll bar whether or not there's a new posts link.

But when I tried that I noticed the vertical text thing happening that dpjfox reported earlier in the thread so it looks like that's related to having a low resolution display too.

I've never seen scroll bars on a single thread like that before, and I've been testing the site on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox and IE.

It's on my work pc so it's only IE7. Don't worry about sorting it; I just didn't know if it was something others were experiencing.

Tell the person responsible for your PC that they should have upgraded from IE7 over two years ago.

If anyone else is seeing this, are you also using IE7?
