Nowhere to place a bet. I go on the vBookie info section and can see the odds but there's no box for me to put vCash in.

Which event are you trying to bet on?

Any chance of a screen grab?
Which browser are you using?

I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the special usergroup you're in but don't know why it's doing it.

Would you like me to move you to the normal registered users group to see if that fixes it?

That's odd because I tried it with a test user with the same settings as you had, and I had the same problem. I then changed their usergroup and it started to work.
Maybe you're seeing a cached version of the page?
Try again but press ctrl-F5 when you get to the page with the odds on.

I tried that at the time and rechecked now. I will have to give up. I'm rubbish at vBookie so it my be just as well I can't bet.

I'm having problems uploading some photos, but not others. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that it's me being incompetent - or is the new software sophisticated enough to stop certain users spamming with wildlife photos? :icon_bigg

Is there a new file size limit? And if so, is it somewhere around the 130KB mark? Could that be raised to, say, 200KB?

Or am I being a giant tit again?

Nothing should have changed.

Can you give me more details of the problems you're having?
Exactly how are you trying to upload them, what messages are you seeing etc.

Thanks Jeff. It's certainly not an urgent issue but thanks for looking at it when you get a chance.

I click on the attachments icon and get the new interface, which looks very clever. I then click on Add Files but it only allows me to select files from a website, not from my computer. I can click on Basic Uploader though, and then Choose File, after which I can browse to my files and click open, then click Upload. After which... some files upload to the Manage Attachments interface and I can drag them into the new panel at the bottom, but for other files, nothing happens that I can see. It seems to be the larger files, above 130KB or so. I'm trying to add the same files time and again and failing, while others are being added first time, every time.

File name length? Special characters in file names (not that there are any)? I'm trying to think of other similar glitches I've had on websites.

I'm using Chrome on a standard home PC by the way.

The file size limit was 200K, and I've just increased it to 500K. I then tried to upload a 220K file and it failed. I'll look into it and post back when I know more.
