This is up there with the daftest things I have heard on TB.

If you look at a certain Walsall fan postings on here, he said it, that Fryatt was often prone to injury when the going got tough. After a successful scoring record at Walsall, he thought he could choose the games he wanted to play.

I am not saying that we bought Fryatt because of Walsall suddenly falling into the relegation zone. We bought him at a time when he was ''injured'', only for a week later he made his debut. Right or wrong? Why was he ''injured'' at Walsall? because the spectre of relegation was beginning to loom.

Please dont disregard someones opinion as daft when its only opinion, its not daft, it makes me sound a pillock, its just not an opinion you view is correct.

im just hoping this doesnt lead to 4-5-1 and the long ball tactic to COG wonder what the midfield would be if it was: Levi Williams AJ Weso Hughes? but would rather the 4-4-2 with Hume and Elvis upfront

I would like to see us put 10 men behind the ball, we can't lose. After all, some people seem to think that is the reason we don't win against easy teams because they do that against us, so it should work in reverse

Yeh but every team that does that against us is capable of taking the one chance they get!! We arent!!

It was more an ironic post than anything else, I think defending 100% against any team is the wrong tactic for us. I don't know what is the right tactic though.

I think we are in desperate need of a formation change. The midfield is useless so that is the area I'd change. Maybe go 4-3-1-2 with COG and Dodds uptop with Hume dropping in behind them.

Mids I'd probably play without wingers and get Hughes, Weso and Johnson in the midfield. Our 2 wingers really aren't yet cut out for this level of football.

The above sounds mental, but we really are desperate for something different

It does sound a bit mental. There always seems to be a clammer to change formation on this site which I dont agree with usually but I reckon 3-5-2 would be worth a try.

Played like this:

GK

McCarthy McCauley Kisnorbo

Maybury Johnson Twato

Hughes Williams

COG Fryatt

I think playing that way would allow Johnson to fart about without being so much of a hinderance and take the ball off the back three. I think a back three would suit our CB's. It would release Hughes who needs to be our goal threat from Midfield. Maybury and Twato have good engines. I would play COG instead of Hume purely and simply because he is more likely to win it in the air.

We really are clutching at straws though arent we!!

Yes, it's all ridiculous really.

Our manager should know his best team, the nett result of that is that we would as well and wouldn't need to waste valuable time pissing about with our own formations. Unfortunately, neither the manager, the fans, the club or the players have got a fecking clue how to solve our current predicament

And it just keeps getting worse and worse. Over the last three years since relegation I have lost count of the times I have walked away from the Walkers say 'thats the worst game I have ever seen'. Then two weeks later I am saying the the same thing!!!!!

an all time low?

Basically we have a League 1 standard squad from midfielders through to the 'strikers'.

Also - it sounds attractive to play a whole load of youngsters but without a balance of more experienced and more physical players - we just get thought out and muscled out.

And, RK might know what he is doing but it certainly doesn't come across in his contacts with the media....and unless he is a changed personality on the training pitch and dressing room, I doubt whether he has what it takes to inspire the necessary confidence or give a bit of stick with the players.

Finally, the fans aren't paid to know how to sort out the club's predicament....but in my experience they know when things aren't right. However, there is a natural reluctance to call for the sacking of yet another manager....and we are reaching the point where apathy will rule because supporters will just give up hope.

Its definately not the time too even consider sacking Kelly. That would be crazy in my eyes

sack him a day before relegation then?

IMO if he is not up to the job...........get rid.

I am not saying sack him now, but I am afraid it is getting near to it.

I think we should wait until the very last minute and get Bruce Wilis or The Hoff to come and save us.

But I would also accept plan b and change things now, not necc get rid of RK, but change something. But as I said, that is plan B, lets wait for the miracle first

I thee George Michael for the job. He will ''install' more morale into the team.
