Whatever people's opinions scoring 23 goals before Xmas in a Season is a good acheivement. If it was a player from another side we would be saying we want him, just like many have said about Lambert. He's not brilliant but I'd rather keep him than let him go.Whatever that costs MM isn't really my problem,I think with him we stand a much better chance of gaining promotion.I fail to see who we can get to replace him

Touche!

Yer defo

It wasn't his fault that he couldn't score in a brothel last season and it wasn't his fault that he was part of a team that plunged us to our lowest point in the history of the club and it's nothing to do with playing against even shittier teams this season. I don't know where people get these mad notions that he isn't Premiership quality.

Bloke down the pub told me he's actually Champions League material, he just hasn't shown it yet
I thought Marshall was just giving his opinion on Fryatt tbh.Yes he was part of last seasons shambles but he wasn't one of the worst culprits.I thought he would improve playing alongside Howard regulary and thats proved the case, whether he can do so in a higher League remains to be seen but I think it a bit unfair to judge him purely on last season when he wasn't fit apparently and playing in a team falling apart and being managed by a total clown

:038: Well said.

It just seems that our fans slate a player even when he's doing well. Some of us appear never to be happy....yeah I know 'Hypocrite Alert'.

So what do you suggest then, sell him?

No, I suggest people stop getting carried away with themselves.

He has had a fantastic season so far in the third division, but all evidence of his performance in the Championship to date has been dire.

If you want a more considered opinion, then I suggest you stop reading my posts and read highland's instead, he's talking sense for once.

What do you mean for once !! I've done it two or three times since I've been on here

It's understandable that people are getting carried away, as things have been so shit and up and down taht a bit of (relative) success and stability is grasped at!

Highland is anything but considered, in my considered opinion!!!
