never said i wouldn't go to this one, just said overall that its a competition i couldn't care about. i wouldn't mind us winning it but i wouldn't go dancing in the streets if we did.

Bullard's was a great goal, but Gera's was horrible and i thought murphy's got a big touch of gilbert, but i only saw them at a glance the other day.

To be honest on the highlights I saw both shots are obstructed by the fact that the cameraman was looking at the goal and missed off the actual shots, they may have deflected before they came on screen certainly.

Just watched Tedfox's highlights and I could just about make out a deflection on the winner, I'll concede that, but for the life of me I can't see any on Bullards.

It's the Gera goal (their first) that got the big deflection, Bullard's was just lovely

Massive deflection on the first, I was behind the trajectory of the shot but did have my view blocked by a bloody big supporting post.

Agreed that the Murphy goal looked to be going wide.

Ooooooooh ok (clunk as the penny drops) until now I thought people were claiming that Bullards goal and Murpheys where deflected, not the Gera one. Yes I agree Gera's was heavily deflected, I suppose I should really have made that connection before!
