How does Martin improving in the future benefit us? The time to play your best players is now.

I meant in the immediate future, like 2 or 3 games time but nevermind.Henderson is not going to improve and he's not good enough IMO

But the suggestion that remains is that Martin is no better.

But he's played 3 games. You may but I would not be judge jury and Executioner based on 3 games and some on here think he's been ok.I still don't know what you meant by Pearson apologists either

cracking performance, wasn't arsed about the result of the game but we did ourselves proud and I'm more than chuffed with that. Martin looks gash but is inexperienced and perhaps will improve, perhaps

'Oh Maxxy Gradel,
You're the love of my life,
oh Maxxy Gradel,
I'd let you shag my wife,
oh Maxxy Gradel,
I love silky skills too...'

To the tune of that song 'I love you baby...' (sorry, can't remember what it was called)...

Is the song called "Cant take my eyes off of you" :icon_conf

Gutted we lost after a good performance. But as others have saaid, it's getting out of this League that should be the priority above everything else so if that sort of effort is put into the league games then I'll be a more happy than pissed off after the games to come i reckon.

Maybe it was just me, but I thought King was shite. I thought he was shite at the weekend and was the weakest link up at Stockport. Yes, he scored, but for huge parts of the game he was ,for me, out of the picture completely.

And the Fulham fans......pffft. There are some places that I think to meself don't deserve to have a football team and that place is one of them. I know atmosphere isn't strictly necessary but there's more life in a morgue than amonst the home fans at Craven Cottage!

Nice to briefly meet OldGit before the match.
Boc, have you sorted out a lift to get from Hartlepool to Sunderland yet or are you going to risk it?

Met Fitz last night and he said he would fix it. I just hope he remembers.

Boc think I met you last night, asked me if I was in the que for the pie stand before we scored. I missed the first too busy downing my plastic beer bottle.

Yes - that was me. Why didn't you say something at the time? I'll be buggered if I can remember what you look though!

While we're on the subject of pies, did anybody else have one? I had one of the lamb/mint/rosemary ones; I thought they were pretty expensive at £3.50 a throw - but the best pie I have ever tasted at a football ground.

Thought he was pretty poor first half, as was Weso... but as I say we did a pretty good job of keeping Bullard and Murphy quiet and surely that comes down to our own CMs?
Thought King did much better second half, after scoring... seemed to give him more confidence and he got more involved. Thought Weso stayed quiet throughout though.
I still think they'll both be decent players, at least at Champ. level, just depends whether we can afford to give players like that experience later in the season

The two highlighted words show you as a lady of great perception. :icon_biggNice to meet you too - for some reason I thought you were somewhat older!

The pies there are of a regularly high standard, and they do vary the selection throughout the season. The press room has even better if you can get your hands on any - their shepherds pie with buttery mash is to die for!
