I'm inclined to agree. I get the impression that the signings MA is left to make on his own are all really good signings for league 2.
your right thats the way i feel too

Depressing being a City Fan at times.
yes it is ,i just hope they prove to be worth it not just bums on the bench :icon_conf
does this mean sunderland cant take him back
Well at least they are likely to make the bench - or indeed the actual team
Which is more than you can say for most of the complete duffers signed to date

Anyway who gives a feck who signed who, they are here and so they have to deal with it. All I care about is watching a team that wins......

we havent won yet
jfh View attachment 1958I think the keeper would be a good signing, not sure how good the left back is, but we needed another one, so let's see.
As for those who think we could make better signings, I would be interested in who you thought we should have gone for instead?
in goal of course nobody will get a ball past that fat arseIn goal or left back Biff?
I was asking about the goalie and left back requirements, but I guess you think we need another striker as well.
i know people are sick to death of the jfh saga but this thread is about signings.
la galaxy sign dave becks for zillions, season tickets go through the roof, fans go out in droves to buy shirts.scores in his first game. crowd goes wild and it sends a buzz around the city
leicester sign clark on thre month loan to see if hes good enough, season tickets remain the same, shirt sales remain the same,****s up a pass back and opponents score.crowd moan again. all of leicester on suicide watch.
There were 17,000 there last night in a 27,000 capacity stadium. In a city what has a population of near 3.8 million, it's not really a buzz. The media's picture of the Beckham signing is warped. There is currently no Baseball or American Football going on - wait till they kick in and see the crowds drop.
Your point has no relevance because Clarke and Fulop are probably 'one grade' off our absolute maximum capability of signing players.
