Something not quite right with Wilf I reckon. Phantom injury, not starting when available and now out for “personal reasons”.

Hope all is well, the Ndidi we know is in there is a terrific player.

Holy shit. Surely this is not normal for some many ACL injuries at one club. What's that - 4 in a year?
It's a much more common injury than you think. Modern footwear, the types of soft, wet pitches now being used and a change tonthe way in which tackles are being made are all playing a part. My missus sees loads of professional athletes with ACL problems but by far and away, most of them are footballers.

It is enlightening to learn that your wife spends lots of time engaging with athletes.

Soumare and Wilf could be in contention for this weekend. Ryan Bertrand has also been training with the first team squad.
 
Might be the last we see of Youri if it's a broken or badly strained ankle. Yet more wear on his tires too - I worry about Youri's long-term career. He's played so much football already.

What a ****ing player he's been for us.
