If I ask a question that's been answered several times already, will someone answer?

Of course - and no matter how many times you ask, Jeff, the answer will always be no :018:

this thread doesn't matter any more really does it because dj can't play against us if blackpool make it to the final.

According to someone on TFF, his Blackpool mate reckons we've agreed to them having a loan extension when we let him go there.

tbh I can't see that as I can't believe they'd allow it to happen if it might jeopardise our chances.

Plus I was told yesterday that when clubs do this agreements about not having players play against them, it's only a gentlemans agreement and so if we face Blackpool in the final, they could easily play DJ if they wanted too, bad sportsmanship definitely, but nothing to stop them doing it and tbh I wouldn't blame them if it meant them going up.

so I would hope the club turn round and tell Blackpool to feck off when they come asking and then tell DJ he will be sitting at home watching it all on tv.

No. If that were the case then clubs would be breaking the agreements all the time. You think Marcel Seip's goal was as a result of the representatives of Plymouth and Blackpool forgetting to shake hands? No, it was because Plymouth neglected to include it in the loan contract. Whoever told you that is talking absolute bollocks, which is not out of place at a Leicester match, I grant you, but you of all people should be able to spot uninformed bullshit when you hear it :icon_wink

Of course in the Premier League we wouldn't have this problem, because it's a league rule that players cannot play against their parent clubs, under any circumstances, ever.
