Highlight had to be Damian and Stephen Marley, absolutely amazing atmosphere in The Roots Tent for it, was buzzing that they played a few of Bobs songs.

T'Artics were really good too, but I prefered Kasabian being about 5 people from the front in shin deep mud!!

Pendulum were pretty ****in amazing as well, they sounded unbelievable performing as a full band instead of just DJs, excellent sound from just drums and bass guitars!!

In fact most of the performances were great, highly recommended to everyone, it is much more than just a music festival, the music is just an added bonus.

Did managed to see one 'famous' person out and about, Donny Torrette, didn't say anything to him although me and a couple of mates were eyeing him up as a potential target to rugby tackle in to the mud, although didn't want to have to wear muddy clothes for another two days so decided against it!!

Well you are just simply the best are you Melts, first The Apprentice and now this!! ;) :biggrin:

But you are right, they are brilliant, both times that I saw them it was top stuff, they were amazing, almost as good as the guy who was just waving a massive flag with them on stage for the whole set!! Take it you have seen them before then?

Nope, I have their albums. DM was at Rock City a few weeks back but nobody would come with me :(

I am the only person "in my circle" who likes them.

Have a listen to Welcome to Jamrock, ****ing excellent album.

Almost let out a little bit of sex wee when they started playing Pimpa's Paradise!! :icon_lol:

If you ever get a chance to see them again, you would not be disappointed!!
 
I understand that the Manic Street Preachers were 20 decibels louder than any other band on the day.

Going from recent experiences on their latest tour, this doesn't surprise me one little bit.
