So we will end up with the Singha Power Walkers Stadium and several million a year in the bank.
No they don't. They have branding rights AT the stadium. The naming rights for the stadium have already been handed over to King Power.
I am not sure what "branding riights AT the stadium" involves. Can someone clarify that please.
But if you read further down that story you'll see this:
"Mr Mandaric, who remains a minority shareholder, said the name change was not set in stone. He said talks would take place with Walkers in the next two weeks, and suggested the club would ask the snack food giant for more money.
"I think it's important we ask about the renaming rights and ask for more money from Walkers," Mr Mandaric said
The Singha when you're winning stadium. :icon_wink
What I find most amazing is that we are going to have two club shops in Thailand.
Singha Stadium as of Jan 2011 - Walkers have the remainder of contract paid off.
Stadium is being tarted up inside, painted and photos have been put up in and around the concourses
No, photos of players past and present.Photos of beer?
Always seems to be pronounced SingER in Britain. Down at my local Tucson Thai restaurant last night, which is entirely staffed by Bangkok natives, I had a couple of Sing HAR beers. Can't really remember how it was pronounced when I was in Thailand.
That's the one way I've never heard it pronounced! It's pronounced Singh
It's pronounced Singh
How do you pronounce that?
Is it the same as 'sing'?
No. You need to pronounce the h as well, so it's Sing-huh
No you don't need to pronounce the 'h'
it's more like a cross between sing and zing. You know with higher tone
