Which 'facts'?
The facts coming from the likes of Dr Hansen?

I'm no climatologist or a scientist for that matter, but I have learnt to ignore such attention grabbing headlines “Warmest October since records began" means **** all. Detailed records that can be relied on have only been taken for about 60 years. When studying climate change measurements are usually in hundreds of years. Anomalies are part of science.

It just annoys me when idiots like this get sprung as it gives skeptics the chance to peddle the line that nothing is wrong after all.

I am one of those sceptics and recognise the fact climate change exists. However I do not accept that climate change as currently experienced in necessarily man made nor do I accept that climate change in itself is bad. The way we live makes us vulnerable to climate change. :icon_wink

This sounds similar to the Religion debate

Without wanting to be too dramatic and trying to write an attention grabbing headline, I think a warmer global climate could create many regional problems. India,China,Pakistan and Iran all quarrelling over water resources in the future being one example that might have a global impact.

Although currently not a global military threat there are bound to be problems throughout africa.

I think all of the above would apply even if we don't have a warmer global climate.

Probably true. :icon_wink

The out of control population growth in these areas will impact this long before the warmer weather does.
