Yet another batting collapse with a mini stand in between the clatter of wickets 158-7. 128 in front

Daggers this morning said a lead of 170 would make it interesting, we'll see

Please explain for a simple foreigner. Are "we" winning or losing?

That was the first set. Gloucs have scored some tries since then. Going into the fourth quarter it's anyone's game.
If they only tried to score we should be safe. Will it go to penalties if it's 217-217 at FT?

I thought Cobb batted really well. Some inconsistency in the wicket but batting conditions overall good.

My not very difficult to reach conclusion is that these are not very good batting teams - I'm not sure where Leics go from here this season.

Gloucs 74-0 coasting to their 188 target at the minute

Thought this was a good batting wicket. Maim surprise is that Gloucs didn't score heavily in their first innings.

"Daggers" is making half a career from his chummy communications style. Unfortunately his cricketing judgement is about the same as his bowling....not very good.

A common feeling on Thursday is that Leics needed a lead of at least 240 to make a game of it. Dagnell's view about having a chance with a 170 lead was absurd.

He avoids any sense of reality on how very poor we are - and he's in the wrong job if he can't remotely read a wicket.
