we'll agree to disagree then.

I think a back four of Curtis (or Primus), Stefanovic, De Zeuuw & Taylor with Smertin, Quashie, Berkovic (or Faye) and Stone in midfield suggests Taylor's the only left back there... that was their line-up if I'm not mistaken for the majority of the season after Berger missed out.

Taylor was fit for about 20 games and came off the bench for about a dozen or so of those suggesting (to me) he wasn't first choice.

The potential signing of Thatcher would (if it were me) make him wonder why & think very hard about his future.

I would make an enquiry if I were Micky - maybe get short shrift but I'd still ask.

Taylor was injured at the start of the season, then came back in to the fold after Berger was injured.

Their line up tended to be mix and match due to a number of injuries, but Taylor played quite a few games on the left wing, probably not most which I said before, but he did play a number of games in that position.

Pompey would usually have a back 4 of: Passanen/Primus/De Zeeuw/Stefanovic. Curtis didn't play that many games for pompey.

Quashie didn't play that many games on the left, so there would usually be Stone on the right and Taylor on the left.

Good stuff Scowy... I don't know that much about them !!

In which case, **** Taylor (that rings a bell) - they can keep him.

If Poohmpey sign Thatch, does that mean that Matthew Taylor may be available ?
