thank you, i think his silence speaks volumes, although i am still expecting a barrage of abuse for suggesting that one of our promising young players should be given a chance ahead of one of our over-paid, over-rated, lazy no hopers.

Our youngster should be given a chance in a game that has to no real importance allowing them to play without pressure and give a true reflection of what they can do! You could put the whole youth team on the sub bench in the hope one might have a good game, but if they dont it would ruin the confidence! IF they were good enough and prepared enough they would already be in the squad, End of.

my whole point is argue against but with valid reason, and if you are refering to your reply that do i think gradel is physically tough enough for the championship, i have already answered that in previous post by saying i have never seen him play, all i know is that he is shit hot at the moment, momo sylla does my head in and no disrespect to alan maybury hes no right winger.
now if you can prove to me that momo sylla deserve a place on the bench of gradel at the moment then that will resolve this issue as this has been my point all along, but i cant see it

I don't think Duzza is saying Momo Sylla is a better player than Max Gradel. He's just saying he's not ready yet to be even second choice right winger, Maybury has done a job at right midfield, so no need to dislodge him.

and if you read my original post i asked what are the prospects of other players and specifically mentioned porter, but not one response mentioning him which lead me to think that he has not lived up to expectations this season as he was one i would of been expecting to feature this season as his name has been flying around for a while

Levi Porter is LEFT footed - played left wing for England and plays left wing or centre mid for the reserves so why would you put him as 2nd choice right winger???? More square pegs in round holes.
Re Gradel v O'Grady discussion - some players need to go out on loan to get experience some can step straight up. It is hard for flair wingers to go out on loan as lower league teams tend to play long ball over the top - not good for a tricky winger with skills. Have to trust the manager to know how to make the most of the players and when to push them up or not.
