Porter has been mentioned constantly for the last few seasons - since he was involved with the England team - Gradel has come from nowhere and is a goal scoring machine - I know which one I would put on the bench.

It is hard for flair wingers to go out on loan as lower league teams tend to play long ball over the top - not good for a tricky winger with skills. Have to trust the manager to know how to make the most of the players and when to push them up or not.

I think it helped the lads confidence, Mansfield were winning the League at the time and a relegation fight could have be confidence-sapping. But he came back with a good vigour and done the job according. Once giving Silvestre the run-around.

Why are we even discussing changes to the first XI, in case anybody has forgotten we have won 2 on the bounce, so IMO the side picks itself and surely now is not the time to make unnecessary changes, especially throwing inexperienced youngsters into the fray at Millwall of all places. FFS have we not learnt anything from the Levein era....keep a settled side, especially when winning and confidence high.

Jesus, I feckin give up.

I think they meant later in the Season when we are 100% safe PFKA

no1 has mentioned changing the first team, well i certainly haven't and certainly not for millwall, i would expect us to play a defensive minded team on saturday as we dont want to lose there and as you say we have won 2 on the bounce which is a sure sign that no changes are needed to the first eleven.
i am saying that we should give a chance to Gradel in the comming weeks from the bench as the team is playing well, and bringing in an already confident player will just spread more confidence around the team. Another reason is this, for example, we are 2-1 down at millwall on saturday pushing for the equaliser but seem to be srtuggling to create something on the wings, who would you like to see come on, Sylla or Gradel, to me it seems an obvious choice as one has proven so far that he is unable to battle for a lost cause and create very little in his 15/20+ appearances this season, and the other is shinning head and shoulders above other promising players and scoring goals like theres no tommorrow from a position that we have failed to score from this season.

RK has been using Welsh as a second half replacement to provide extra creativity on the left and seems quite happy to leave Stearman and Maybury on the right. I know you couldn't describe either of these as creative wingers, but Stearman has got forward quite a bit and both of them have scored decent goals this season.

I suspect that if Maybury or Stearman were injured Hume would drop back to right wing. I think Kelly has done this once or twice since taking over. However, in response to your question 'who would you prefer to see coming on, Sylla or Gradel?', I agree it would be better to see Gradel, who might offer something rather than Sylla who we know will not, but as I said I don't think this will haen at the moment.

Give Gradel a chance in the squad as at the moment we are carrying a lot of injuries.
The squad can be as many as say 20 and then whittle it down on the day.

Most if not all may be ok come Saturday. But we may as well be prepared
