Can't blame him for it, and don't understand why any player who hands in a transfer request automatically gets labelled as unloyal scum.
I think Pearson would be happy to sell him for the right money, is very unlikely to play him, and all the talk about us being glad to have him back and involved etc is just to try and get Leeds to stump up more money.
He'd be dropping down to a lower league, still not guaranteed a first team place, but likely to get a lot more football than he would here (particularly if we do sign Solano). I think it's fair enough. He's a young player with good potential, he doesn't want to waste that not getting games.
I'd be a bit disappointed to see him go, but if we can get a decent fee for him then so be it.
Plus, him handing in a transfer request means he waives the "loyalty bonus" I think he would've got if we'd sold him anyway (which we probably would have)
I think it's a bit strange they've put the story on the OS, without saying whether his request has been accepted or not. Now that Nobby has signed though, I'm sure Gradel will go.
