Steve Howard is dog shit but is still preferred above Campbell. Campbell came on last week for Howard and changed the game. Without him Fryatt wouldn't have scored his goal.

Can't understand why people prefer Howard to Campbell, I wonder what it could be.

Because most teams in this League play with a target man,someone who leads the line.He is preferred because NP obviously likes to play with a big un and a little un upfront rather than a little un and bone idle lazy un...IMO

I think it's clear you need a big lad to knock a few about in this division. Howard's the only option you have in this mould. However, against a defence which is equipped with an organised defence with plenty of decent headers of the ball. You employ some pace upfront.....however that means the team doesn't hoof the ball up which we have done for a number of years and apart from the first couple of games have continued doing.

Shame really because in the midfield, there looks to be some decent footballers. Maybe this why I and other criticise the midfield - difficult to get in a game where they are bypassed but today I didn't see King or Oakley demand the ball once off the centre halves. Who knows maybe this where that previous bag of bob Clemence might come in?
