He was ALWAYS the wrong man for the job, and this is the best possiable solution for both the club and Smegson.

I also though he was a wrong choice...i still feel he was a "quick fix" and a cheap fix option. All these promises of promotion (as long as it does not cost to much)..
The way we have been playing recently(all be it with a sound defence)I bet MM would have sacked him sonner or later..It makes it much easier for him as far the his PR is concerned...It deverts that fact that he was wrong to hire, and then fire MA2 from the beginning...

£300,000 goes some way to recovering the money we wasted on the dross we brought in over the summer.

Goodbye Ginger Twat

Nah. Mark McGee did good for our club. If the fat gready Scottish b@stard had never left the way he did, we might never have got MON.

I'd say he will be remembered the same as Taylor.

Best news in weeks, we must get behind MM but he obviously hasn't got a clue re who to pick in managers either here or Portsmouth! (until he realised his mistake and re-appointed Harry Rednapp). I do feel sorry for Bolton in as much as they have lost their equivalent to M O'Neil (Sam) and after a promising trier (Sammy), have signed a complete dud!!!
