A win at Vauxhall Motors today - a run of being unbeaten in 8 sees Hinckley safe and playing Conf North football in 2009/2010. Major applauds to Adam Webster whose heroics up front have saved em.

Nuneaton Borough's recultance to qualify for this year's play-offs is about to see that club hit major finicial trouble.

Shame the season is ending for them really, they're showing the same kind of form they showed last season. A few weeks ago it looked like Hinckley would finish either 19th/20th, now they could finish as high as 15th!

Are they not bothering with next season then?

Nuneaton (sadly) will be fine.

Nuneaton Borough are expected to be demoted to the Southern League (two levels) on the 9th June.

The company has just been liquidated. I suspect that a lot of sorting out will have to be done to get them admitted to any league this season.

Hmmm Mr Neale is about the least popular man in treacle town right now.

Mr.Neale claims that with the rules a bit less tight regards finicial control at Southern League level, they will be admitted to that division.

So that's Hucknall and Vauxhall Motors saved from relegation this season thanks to other clubs money problems. There is of course Altrincham who on the third year running stay up in the Conference thanks to other clubs woes.

I swear Gez Murphy has been injured all season.

He has been injured for most of the season but came back towards the end. He was injured in pre-season, I helped stretcher him off. :icon_cool
