It does now appear were after Lunt ( who from the bit ive seen of him is an attacking midfielder).

Who do we play alongside him, is Kisnorbro moving forward (hence McAuley interest) or could Weso fill that role?

Wesolowski, hopefully, depending on a) how he recovers from his injury, and b) if Rob Kelly wants to play him week in, week out.

we would still need a midfield player, I would go for more of a holding player
Strengths of the players
Wesolowsk-tackling and winning the ball
Hughes- Not sure lol
Williams-Good passer of the ball

So does everyone think RK should drop :102: Williams?
No, persevere. On performances displayed I would say yes, definitely, but I believe he has a lot more to offer us so we should stick with him. I would play him and Weso together. Why would anybody choose Lunt over these 2?

Henderson
Stearman McCarthy McAuley Kisnornbo/Maybury

Williams
Wesolowski Lunt Hughes

I like it, I like it a lot. Fukk Maybury off though. Although I would possibly play Kisnorbo as centre back and buy a new left back, or play Sheehan

What happens if Weso breaks his leg again? Or isn't up to a 50-game season..?
Well get rid of him then. Any professional footballer that can't hold down 50 games a season as his full time employement doesn't deserve to be called a professional

Fryatt will thrive off the type of ball Gareth Williams is capable of providing. I felt just at the end of Connolly's stay he and gareth williams were developing an understanding and he (connolly) was getting the service from midfield he needed.

On that basis I would want Gareth Williams out there. Sometimes he can go missing, but it can be often worth it when he shows some class for a fleeting moment that gets us a goal.

The Palace game springs to mind for that one:icon_eek:

i like this and with lunt playing a little further forward it would go back to the diamond midfield formation I was advocating about 6 months ago.

Going on your old signature (Something along the lines of..Hughes=:038: Williams=:018:) , I'm guessing you're a Williams hater?:102:

why has everyone chosen a midfielder who cant tackle to save his life as a defensive midfielder and last line od defence before the centre backs. surely weso would play there?
