I think we need an experienced player to fill the position and give Weso the odd game. This would allow for Weso to slowly get his match fitness back and not put too much pressure on his leg!

I have never understood what is in your signature willow.

My take is that if you can basically run for 60 sseconds you'll be a man and own the world. Alarming prospect really.

We have many players who could fulfill this role IMO, Tiatto, Kismybum, Hughes, Weso to name but a few.....

But we havent and none of the players you have mentioned above, Alex have proved they are capable of playing that role consistently through a season, IMO we definately need to recruit a dominant central midfielder for next season.

Hughes is far too lightweight for that position IMO.

I think the question was: could Gerrbrand perform a holding midfield role? It would be great if he could, as it would kill several birds with one Swede.
