I think people may be putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 45..

HF - he was on trial here a few months ago, he is leaving Bury, we need a striker, we want young/hungry players, Rob Kelly knows the young talent in the NW well.

What more do you need?

A few male hormones, I suspect

I think the homer/Highland feud should end now, it's a little boring.

There is no feud I have the utmost respect for the big fat lardass bastard...

Yeah

Butt out, Durham

We need a Proven Goalscoer, the stats I see for him don't convince me he is that Goalscorer.Hume at Tranmere would be more suitable IMO.

See where you are coming from and I am by no means suggesting that he is the answer to our problems but the evidence points to him coming here IMO.

Agree Hume would be a good signing but I am not sure our current manager has the knowledge of the game in England to sign players like that. I honestly don't think we will sign anyone from south of the border that isn't a Rob Kelly recommendation.

I think we have some good players and I believe CL can get them playing as a team. Players like Hughes, Williams, Connolly, Dublin, MDV etc etc are more than capable of competing at this level. With some added backup and a bit of steel I think we could challenge for promotion although I won't be calling for CL's head if we aren't up there by Septemeber like some.

Some will though - guarantee it...

I'm really looking forward to the Radio Leicester Phone In starting up again...Bob from Oadby will be phoning up in August saying how he thinks we'll go up this season then phoning up in October calling for Levein's head. Such good fun.

Homer

Reports suggst Lovell (Dundee), but I cant understand why we havent been linked with Pompeys Fuller (because of Craigs previous involvements with him)

Leicester City are ready to rival Aberdeen for Dundee striker Steve Lovell.

Foxes boss Craig Levein is keen to add to his attack over the summer and could make another raid on the SPL.

Reports north of the border claim that the 24-year-old is a target for Leicester, with his future at Dens Park uncertain.

If Dundee fail to win their fight to remain in the SPL, Lovell is likely to leave the club after three years on Tayside.

Aberdeen have already had an offer for the forward rejected, with Dundee wanting £250,000 for Lovell.

Dundee warned The Dons to 'put up or shut up' last month and they have conceded they would be pressed into selling Lovell to raise finances.

But while Levein may hold an interest, he could baulk at the sum Dundee are demanding for the former Portsmouth man.

We can't afford Fuller...no way.

It aint a case of we cant afford lovell. Most clubs are financially in the shite, We aint. But stay in the fizzy for two more season and we will be in the doo-doos. So it is more a case of can we afford NOT to get a decent stiker.

Steve Lovell, plays for Dundee and has scored 28 times in 71 appearances.
As they are being relegated he is up for sale, aberdeen have made an offer of £250k which has been turned down. £300.000 would probably seal the deal, which in not a lot to pay for a 20 goal a season player. In fact I doubt you would find one for any less.

It looks like he could be the answer

CL must go to the board and demand the money for the player he needs

one player whose not been mentioned i dont think is lee clark, released from fulham. hes 32 and i realise theres the danger of him being another 'horse out to pasture' but hes always given 100% on the pitch and IMO would be a good bit of grit and experience alongside an otherwise very young central midfield and someone we could realistically afford

Dundee starlet Scott Robertson is on his way 2 leicester for £75,000 on friday (1st july) from reliable source

One signing.

Another Internet rumour. :???:

Leicester City are ready to rival Norwich for Midfielder Steve Mcmannaman.

Foxes boss Craig Levein is keen to add experience to his squad over the summer and see's the former Real Madrid man as a good option.

Recent reports claim that the Liverpoodlian is a target for Leicester, with Mcmannaman yet to find a club after being released by Man City.

The once Champions league winner is struggleing to find a club with his high wage demands but Leicester would be a good option for him with a coach role available.

The left sided player has said "There have been a few clubs interested, I have had a chat with Ben (Thatcher) and he speaks very highly of Leicester and I am looking foward to meeting Craig (Levein) this week."

But while Levein may hold an interest, he could baulk at the money demanded by the former Liverpool man.
