The PA news room is full of rumours tonight that City have accepted a bid from Wigan for £2.5M for Connelly and Maybury.

Tiatto will leave to go back to Australia's new soccer league and that City will sign Riordan, Kris Boyd, Paul Hartley (Hearts) and Darren Kenton.

Rumours perhaps, but I think there is some truth somewhere in this....expect the Sunday papers to run the story.

Sounds WAY over the top to me

Anything in the Sunday Papers?

Yep, can't see that happening at all. None of those rumours have been true yet, and I doubt this one is either. If it was true, Wigan would be getting a good deal there.. Although, going with the earlier rumour of Connolly for £1.5m, we'd be getting 100x what we paid for Maybury, 8 months after buying him..

Cant see any of that going ahead. Has CL ever even said anything whatsoever about riordin? It seems to be a forum rumour.

Hartley has just signed a new 3 year deal with Hearts so I truly doubt he will sign for Leicester.

Boyd is now apparently a signing target for Rangers so if this part is true it would be a choice between Champions League football or plain old Championship football.

hibs are however keen to get what they can for Riordan before losing him for nothing in 14 months time. The supposed fee agreed with Cardiff was £200k up front, I presume there would have been the usual add-ons. Wee rat-boy didn't even travel down to Cardiff to meet them, so I get the feeling that he will sit tight at hibs until his contract ends.

More than likely I've wasted my time (and yours if you are still reading this far) as these rumour sites are always full of nonsense!!
