Really sorry to hear this, SJN. I've got that day still to come, probably in the not-too-distant future.

I'm feeling quite excited. My house sits on a 9.4 acre chunk of fairly inhospitable desert, and I just found this in my yard/garden/property. It appears to be a Native American pictograph, which is like a cave painting but etched with something acidic (I think). There's apparently a rich Apache (the PC name is Tohono O'odham) history in this area, especially from the canyon just down from my house. I'm finding out more from friends who have a bit of knowledge, and I may have to call in the experts to see what else they can find.
