Well I think you'll all know how I feel.

I've just had confirmation of a meeting that I MUST attend. That meeting is now confirmed for Saturday afternoon 11th August 2007.
:026:

Just had a totally unexpected email rescheduling this for Thursday 9th.

I can go to the football!!!!

Bollocks!

Feeling better, been told that Mrs SJN is gonna be under chemo for probably a year, but a few weeks ago we were told she wouldn't last a feckin year. She's shaved off her head, ready for when her hair (that she adores) falls out and is busy trying on head scarves, she said that she will control it, not the other way round.

I think if I live to be 200 years old, I will never meet anyone as brave as she is. She has proven to be a real inspiration to me and all around her over these last few weeks and has put into perspective, some of the things that have been going on around me.

The best news though is that he doctors have said that it's ok for her to go away to Tenerife at Christmas. We booked this holiday back in January and she has been really looking forward to it all year.

Now that she has the all clear, it saves me having to find someone to look after her over Christmas! (JOKE FFS)

Thats cracking news. My nan has just come through chemo and was horrified at first to lose her hair. However I have never seen her have so much fun shopping as when they took her down to the "wig shop" at the hospital to pick out her wigs! Kid in a candy store!

Embarrassed.

Just taken my son into Wigston as he had some PS2 games that he wanted to sell. Tried a specialist game shop first but was only offered a pittance.

As we get into the centre, and therefore busiest part of the town, he asks in far too loud a voice "Can we go to the Pawn shop now Mum?" :icon_redf
