Yeah we did one in my mates field near Enderby police station. It got out of hand though and they sent the Old Bill 'round because there was a huge black cloud heading over Fosse Park. Don't burn sofas.

yeh we used to do it for years when the kids were too small to go to big displays. Just set off the fireworks before you or your friends drink too much - and warn the neighbours if they are close. Have obvious places for people to put their sparklers down (ie buckets of water) or you'll end up with burnt / melted garden furniture! Fireworks are expensive though but luckily my friends were more bothered abouth the food and drink.

Im thinking of doing a “bring a firework party.” Ill supply the food and beer.
